The documentary "Branding Europe" of dutch VPRO's Tegenlicht (short version above) mentions a set of external threats for Europa, like ISIS (renamed to Daesh by the press) and Putin, in other words Russia, both of which would to be running strong propaganda against Europa. Greece and the refugees are mentioned passingly, but the American style lobbies or TTIP aren't even mentioned. Possible threats from within the EU itself aren't mentioned either, like political and corporate corruption, the distance and complete alienation between the European goverment (Commission) and the common citizen or maybe even the enourmous burocracy that turns all of European decision-making to a ponderous and ungainly process. Recently the dramatized threat of "Brexit" could be an additional item.
What do you think? What are the true threats for Europa?
Some of these threats are not just European issues, but are actually of global scale.
